LOCKDOWN DIARIES

People look out the window not to see what’s going on in the world, but to forget what’s going on within. The second wave of covid has had a physical and mental impact on people. SOS tweets, aid, requests, and deaths abound on social media. Every day feels like an eternity. People have aged by ten years in the last month.

There is fear in your minds because of the lockdown, the lack of vaccine availability, and the lack of jobs. The constant fear prevents you from sleeping or thinking. You are not calmed by your social media, Netflix, or music. You simply want things to return to normal. However, it will never be normal. People’s lives have been broken beyond repair, not just bruised. Even your known relatives or friends might not help you in such a situation. You are completely alone.

The only thing you can do as an individual maintain social distance, stay in your homes, wear a mask, and go out only when absolutely necessary.

Get vaccinated, and please take care of yourself and your family, because the harsh reality is that

“NO ONE IS COMING TO HELP YOU”.
